The three boys were captured on CCTV entering the shop on Grenfell Street at around 6pm and threatening store worker, Granth Matta.
One boy can be seen taking the Taser from his pocket and charging it up, threatening to use it on Matta.
”If you don’t let us have these things, we’ll like shock you and you’ll be out cold,” he was heard saying.
The young thieves were captured pointing and picking out what they wanted, while the 20-year-old shop attendant bagged it up.
The trio was filmed taking off with cans of soft drink, lollies, mints and lighters, as well as demanding cash from the till.
”They ask for the cash, but I deny (sic) it,” Matta told 9News.
“I was scared. I let them have all the things because our boss said it was our safety first.”
It’s not the first time Matta has been threatened while doing his job.
In January last year, he said men came into the store armed with a rod.
His co-workers say it can be frightening working in the store on their own at nighttime.
“(It’s) a pretty scary situation when someone comes in with a weapon and threatens us, just for some lollies or drinks,” Arjun Subash said.
One suspect has been arrested over Monday’s robbery, while the search continues for the others involved.
