Newsypeople- Mr. Macaroni, a famous Nigerian comedian and actor, advises celebrities to take legal action against people who defame them online rather than using illegal methods.

Mr. Macaroni recently used his X handle to address the issue of insulting comments and false accusations aimed at him by supposed trolls linked with the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) party.

Even though he has faced many attacks, he emphasized that he will not use law enforcement in an illegal way to arrest or imprison anyone. By showing the dangers that come with such actions, he warned his colleagues about misusing government connections and stressed how important it is to stop these practices.

Mr. Macaroni spoke about how important it is to speak against online bullying and harassment, saying that people who do these things should be punished by law.

He asked famous people to use the legal system for help if they are bullied or defamed online. He urged them to take their complaints to court, just like any other person would when facing such problems.

The comedian warned about using government connections to lock up people illegally. He said that even though it might seem helpful now, it can cause problems later when leaders change.

He asked everyone to think carefully about what could happen if society starts accepting illegal punishment without proper law and order.

Reports say that Nollywood actress Toyin Abraham had a part in catching an X influencer who made bad claims about her. This caused Mr Macaroni to give his opinion on the matter. But, Toyin Abraham explained she only informed the cybercrime unit and did not set up for the arrest of the influencer’s mother.
