One fan who went by the handle @seancryptic wrote: This aunty is 40 years old and looks really attractive. alright. . Given that she is not yet forty years old Toke Makinwa questioned to whom the fan was referring.

Fans and followers of Makinwa responded in a variety of ways to her response. While some criticized her for downplaying her age others stood by her saying there is nothing wrong with being forty years old. MZ Shimmer one of them commented: Nigerians are too quick to seek trouble.
