Disturbing footage has captured the moment a mass brawl broke out at a family night market and left a man fighting for his life in hospital.
The violent fight erupted at the Mindil Beach Sunset Market, in Darwin, at 8.20pm on Thursday.
NT Police said a 43-year-old involved in the brawl collapsed at a nearby bus stop soon afterwards, while others sustained minor injuries.
The man was found at the bus stop at Gilruth Avenue before he was rushed to Royal Darwin Hospital in a critical condition.

A video of the brawl filmed by a witness showed a chaotic scene with several people involved in the punch-on.
One woman seen fighting in the video can be heard shouting as she lays several blows into another woman.
‘I wanna kill her,’ she said. ‘I’m killing this c***.’
A third woman tried to pull her away before the woman was kicked in the face by a man.
‘She’s choking her, she’s f***ing choking her, she can’t breathe,’ another man is heard yelling.
On Monday a NT Health spokeswoman said a 43-year-old was in a stable condition, the NT News reported.
Footage of the fight was shared to social media where one woman claimed as many as 20 people were involved in it.
‘The tourists must be thinking they have arrived into a war zone!’ she wrote.
NT Police issued a statement and urged witnesses to come forward.
‘At 8:20pm, police received reports of fighting at Mindil Beach Markets at the Southern end,’ it read.

‘A short time later, a man believed to be involved in the altercation collapsed at a bus stop on Gilruth Avenue.
‘St Johns Ambulance conveyed the victim to Royal Darwin Hospital in a critical condition.’
NT Police said no arrests had been made as of Monday.
‘There were obviously a number of people in the area who were witnesses to what was going on in relation to this incident,’ Sergeant Richard Howie said.
NT Police appealed for anyone with information or footage of the incident to come forward by calling 131 444 and quoting reference number 10336579.
