The group, with the exception of Mr Palmer, also pleaded not guilty to charges of kidnapping and torturing another 15-year-old boy, who was not Cassius, in a separate incident in the days leading up to October 13.

Mr Palmer is not accused of being involved in this incident.

All four have been remanded in custody until their first Supreme Court appearance on July 31.
