Commuter horror as minibus slams into a car and a truck with three people trapped as paramedics frantically work to rescue them
Three people are believed to be trapped after a horror crash between a mini-bus and a car at Vineyard in Sydney‘s west.
A minibus, truck and a Subaru sedan smashed into each other just after 3pm on Windsor Road, Vineyard, near Perth Street.
Five people have been rushed to hospital, including a boy aged 16. They are in stable conditions.

Three fire engines and an ambulance were on scene. Firefighters were scene trying to remove passengers from the mini-bus.
Drivers are advised to avoid Windsor Road and Perth Street while emergency teams are on site.
‘Windsor Road closed in both directions at Perth St due to a two-vehicle crash. Avoid the area & use an alternative route,’ wrote Live Traffic Sydney on Twitter.
A spokesperson for NSW Police said: ‘NSW Ambulance paramedics treated the driver of the minibus for lower body injuries, and the two passengers – a 16-year-old boy and a woman believed to be in her 40s.
‘Paramedics also treated an 82-year-old male driver of the Subaru and the 32-year-old female passenger.
‘The four adults were taken to Westmead Hospital and the 16-year-old boy to the Children’s Hospital at Westmead, all in stable conditions.
‘The truck driver was uninjured.’
Police are now investigating the circumstances of the crash.
