Dylan Mulvaney was in for a fright on the magenta carpet of the 76th Tony Awards in New York City when Frosted Flakes mascot Tony the Tiger snuck up on her.

The transgender influencer posted a video to Instagram showing her on the carpet getting spooked by the tiger, causing her to hilariously fall over.

‘That just scared the hell out of me,’ Dylan said as she and photographers taking pictures could be heard laughing about the interaction.

The social media star wore a black floor-length dress with gem decals made by Christian Siriano which accented her newly-debuted bleach-blond hair

Mulvaney studied musical theater in college and played Elder White on the National Tour of The Book of Mormon in 2019.

After the scare with the Frosted Flakes mascot, Mulvaney went on to put her dress on full display in front of a leaf-heavy Tony Awards backdrop.

One photo posted by the Tony’s Facebook account of Mulvaney received dozens of likes and comments from those praising the TikToker.

‘Stunning,’ Facebook user Brenda Ashdown Whitney wrote.

‘She looks so pretty!’ shared Rocky Enclada.

‘Love the blond hair! Gorgeous,’ another person added.

Mulvaney appeared at the event through a partnership with Meta, according to her Instagram post. In her video, she said she was overjoyed to get the chance to attend Broadway’s biggest night, especially considering her theater history.

Not all were so supportive of the trans activist’s presence at the event.

‘She’s only here because of the controversy,’ one Facebook user wrote.

The user is referencing the Bud Light controversy which saw the company hiring Mulvaney to do an endorsement of their beer, which triggered mass outrage.

The company has since lost billions of dollars in market capitalization, and continues to be boycotted by millions of consumers.

In early June, Modelo Especial dethroned Bud Light as the top American beer, as its sales have increased more than 15 percent from the same time a year ago.

For the week ended May 20, Bud Light sales were down 25.7 percent, according to data from Bump Williams Consulting cited by the New York Post

‘While Bud Light loses week after week, Modelo Especial gains week after week and now Modelo outsells Bud Light on a national basis across all trade channels combined,’ Bump Williams told the Post.

Bud Light officials have since issued a ‘half-brewed’ apology for upsetting fans.

Mulvaney recently talked with ‘Them,’ an LGBTQ+ magazine and said she will only work with brands who want to support all transgender people.

‘If a brand wants to work with me so bad, then they should work with other trans people, too,’ Mulvaney told the magazine.

‘It’s not enough to just hire me, this white, skinny trans girl. I want all the dolls getting all the brand deals,’ she continued.

Speaking for the first time, Mulvaney said: ‘No matter your gender, people will project things on to you about who you’re supposed to be. And I think we equally have to tell people our actual purpose.’

Mulvaney told ‘Them’ she prefers not to name her critics ‘because it gives them the satisfaction of believing they’re on my mind.’

‘It shows my followers that I’m standing up for myself, but also pushes that their narrative is loud enough to matter,’ she told the magazine.
