Get ready for round two! Ticketmaster crashes for the THIRD time as fans scramble for Taylor Swift tickets as more go on sale for the singer’s next two UK shows for her Eras Tour

Ticketmaster crashed for the THIRD time today after a just seconds after tens of thousands of Taylor Swift fans rushed to secure a seat at her UK Eras Tour at 11am today.

As it can be revealed that some tickets are being sold for as much as £1,369 for a pair, fans were also kicked out of the queue in the second day of the singer’s general sale for her gigs at Wembley Stadium on June 22 and Liverpool’s Anfield Stadium on June 23.

Fans have lambasted the current system, calling for it to be to be changed after they were forced to buy VIP tickets because they are the only ones left.

One fan tweeted on the hour: ‘Kicked out the queue the second it started. God love you Ticketmaster.’

Another wrote: ‘There needs to be a huge overhaul with Ticketmaster because the system is not fair. People cannot physically afford £600 odd tickets each, all for the sake of a good tote bag and a couple of extra goodies. The seats are even top tier.’

By 11.27am Swifties looking for Anfield tickets reported there were only VIP tickets left which cost up to £662.40 while on Monday two tickets for Wembley were selling for £1,369 for two.

VIP tickets give fans exclusive Taylor Swift merchandise – a bag, pin, ticket and postcard and a souvenir concert ticket with a laminated lanyard.

Other fans made it onto the ticketing site AXS and reported being redirected to another website.

One tweeted: ‘I got to the end of the queue to buy Taylor Swift tickets and it re-directed me to the website which has not been uploading for the last 10 minutes.’

Fans were outraged to discover that tickets have been made strictly non-transferable by Ticketmaster and claimed this information was not previously stated on its website.

When concert-goers attend the event in groups the ‘lead booker’ – the person who bought the tickets – must be present with a valid photo ID for the whole party to enter.

It comes as social media sites are bombarded with people selling tickets after claiming they have bought extra tickets or can no longer attend the show.

The large influx of this behaviour online prompted experts to re-issue a warning to fans that any ticket offers made outside the official routes should be avoided.

According to Action Fraud, UK consumers lost more than £6.7 million to ticket fraud in 2022.

Only those who received an invitation via email can access the pool of tickets at the general sale but some fans lost out as they could not access the queue itself.

On Monday, fans scrambled to get tickets for Taylor’s three Edinburgh shows at BT Murrayfield.

However, Ticketmaster crashed again with fans complaining they were being asked to spend hundreds of pounds on tickets, despite the cheapest seats being listed at around £60.

Similar problems arose last Monday during the pre-sale launch for the 33-year-old’s UK tour.

At 1pm today, general sale tickets for London on August 16 and Liverpool on June 14 go on sale.

Liverpool’s final date on June 15 goes on general sale at 3pm.
