Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene insists she wasn’t defending George Santos and claims Rep. Jamaal Bowman has put her ‘life in danger’ in the past after her heated skirmish with the Squad member on the Capitol steps Wednesday night.

Bowman, D-N.Y., meanwhile, insisted her comments after the fight were ‘dangerous and reckless’ and likened her to a white supremacist.

Greene and Bowman, from the far-right and far-left of their parties respectively, got into a shouting match after Bowman and Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez were heckling Santos to resign.

Greene, R-Ga., insisted President Biden should do the same, before the pair broke out into a screaming match.

‘First off, I never defended George Santos,’ Green told DailyMail.com about the fight in a news conference. ‘What concerns me about Jamaal Bowman is he has a history of aggression, not just towards others but towards me in particular.’

Greene said Bowman led a ‘mob’ in New York City when she was there to protest the indictment of former President Trump.

‘My life was in danger. I was swarmed. It’s all on video,’ she said.

Greene said there is video of Bowman ‘calling me a white supremacist – which I take great offense to.’

‘That is like calling a person of color the n-word, which should never happen. Calling me a white supremacist is equal to that and that is wrong,’ she went on.

Bowman told reporters Greene’s comments were ‘incredibly dangerous and incredibly reckless.’

‘Unfortunately this country has a history of characterizing black men who are outspoken who stand their ground and who push back as being threatening or intimidating. She’s not even using a dog whistle – she’s using a bull horn to put a target on my back.’

‘I never invaded her personal space I was laughing and gregarious the entire time. How is that intimidating?’ Bowman said of his row with Greene.

‘Anyone who knows me here knows I’m middle school principal energy,’ the congressman went on. ‘Unfortunately white supremacists, historically, that is what they do. They try to dehumanize black people.’

‘I have right, a constitutional right, to defend myself,’ Santos said Wednesday night, before adding ‘there’s a deranged member here’ when Ocasio-Cortez and Bowman shouted ‘resign!’

Bowman and Marjorie Taylor Greene then got into a shouting match.

‘Expel him! The party’s hanging by a thread!’ Bowman said to Greene.

‘Impeach Biden! Impeach Biden!’ Greene said.

‘No more QAnon! Do something about guns!’ Bowman shot back. ‘Right, so close the border!’ Greene shouted.

AOC stepped in and said to Bowman ‘she ain’t worth it, bro,’ referring to Greene.

Greene said of Bowman earlier: ‘His physical mannerisms are aggressive, and he just recently shoved Thomas Massie just outside the House chamber. I think there’s a lot of concern about Jamal Bowman, so and I am concerned about him. I feel threatened.’

Massie and Bowman got into a heated debate off the House floor at the end of March over gun control when Massie, R-Ky., suggested no mass shootings had happened at a school where teachers were armed.

Bowman said he is always ‘loving and engaging and friendly – except when kids are being killed in our streets. Do not conflate my engagement with Congressman Massie and my engagement with her.’

‘I am very concerned about Jamal Bowman, and he’s someone that people should watch,’ Greene concluded.

Greene lobbed the fresh attacks at Bowman during a news conference Thursday morning topping off her ‘impeachment week,’ announcing she’d introduce articles of impeachment against President Biden, in addition to Homeland Security Sec. Alejandro Mayorkas, FBI Director Christopher Wray, Attorney General Merrick Garland, and U.S. Attorney Matthew Graves.

She said Mayorkas would be the ‘easiest one to impeach,’ and Garland was next.

Greene said she has spoken to House GOP leadership about her efforts. ‘They didn’t tell me not to do it. They just asked me questions about the method, the legality, and you know, things pertaining to the Constitution.’
