Later, only three members of Counter Arrow walk into the guild building, and Rudeus asks if something happened. Mimir died in the snowstorm, and now Sara is lost. Rudeus looks for Sara in the bush because he wants to prove himself, but all he finds is one of her earrings.
When a monster tree tries to hurt her, Rudeus finds her stuck in the tree’s trunk and gets her out safely. After he healed her in a cave, she told him to thank her for the first time since they met. He brings her back to town, where everyone starts crying because they’re glad Sara is still safe and well.
