A woman has mysteriously vanished while on holiday in the Victorian Alps following a video call with a friend.
Lillian, 48, from Cheltenham in Melbourne‘s southeast, called her mate at about 7.30pm on Saturday but hasn’t been heard from since.
While on the call she informed her friend she was planning a day trip in the Bright area, near Mount Buffalo National Park and Mount Hotham.
However, her family and friends are now seriously concerned about her welfare as she has not been seen or heard from since, with police saying her behaviour is ‘out of character’.

It is believed the 48-year-old is travelling in a black Honda Jazz, registration TEP885.
On Monday, Victoria Police released a photo of Lillian, who is described as of Asian appearance, of solid build and with short purple hair.
Anyone with information is urged to contact police.
