Three teenagers, one as young as 14-years-old, were arrested while a 16-year-old allegedly fled the scene.

He was arrested just moments later on neighbouring Robert Eggins Street after a police dog bit his right forearm and brought him to the ground.

A local filmed the arrest with video showing the teenager yelling in agony as a police officer attempts to release the dog’s grasp on his arm.

The teenager can be seen lying on his stomach with two men, one an officer in uniform, squatting over him and the dog still biting down on his arm.

He can be heard yelling in pain and repeating ‘my hand’  while the officer tells him to ‘stay still’.

The officer then put his foot on the back of the teenager’s elbow while attempting to have the dog release the arm.

After being told to put his hands behind his back, the teenager is heard saying: ‘I can’t move my hand’.

‘(They) don’t even know how to tame their own dog,’ the cameraman can be heard saying while the police dog continues to bark at the teenager.

‘Go away mate, get out of here,’ the officer then tells the cameraman before a second police officer approaches and forces him away from the scene.

The teenager had to be treated for injuries at Kempsey Hospital before being released by police pending further investigations

A NSW Police spokesman confirmed the teenager was one of four arrested during the police inquiry.

‘Three teenagers were arrested at the unit, and one teenager – aged 16 – fled the location,’ he said.

‘With the assistance of the dog unit, the 16-year-old boy was arrested nearby.

‘NSW Ambulance paramedics treated the 16-year-old boy in custody for a hand injury before taking him to Kempsey hospital.’

Three of the teenagers, including the 16-year-old, were released pending further investigations while a 14-year-old was charged with aggravated break and enter in company causing damage to property less than or equal to $60,000.

He was granted bail and is set to face children’s court on August 9.
