Tonight, Joe Biden will make one of the biggest speeches of his presidency.

The 80-year-old will use his State of the Union address to try and convince a skeptical American public that he is ready for a second term in office and his work has turned their fortunes around the pandemic and Trump administration.

He spent the weekend at Camp David combing through his remarks with his closest aides and practicing with a teleprompter to try and avoid making one of his gaffes and using techniques to navigate his stutter.

The annual address before both chambers of Congress is expected to focus on the economy, competitiveness, security, and unity.

Known for repeating buzzwords and phrases, Biden is likely to use them again when he faces Congress at 9pm.

DailyMail.com has put together a bingo card with some of his go-to statements and the quintessential features of his recent speeches – such as shouting, whispering into the microphone and a cough.

It is the first time Biden will speak in front of the Republican House Speaker Kevin McCarthy and the GOP House majority that is preparing to investigate his family’s business deals and son Hunter.

The president is expected to ask them to work with him as he tries to come to an agreement over the debt ceiling.

Watch how Republican legislators treat Biden overall after outbursts from the audience last year including Rep. Lauren Boebert (R-Colorado) who blamed the president for the death of 13 service members who were killed during the U.S. withdrawal of Afghanistan.

Biden won’t officially announce his run for president, but it will his remarks tonight will set the stage for his campaign.

If he does seek office, he will be 86 by the end of his second term, and recent polls have suggested that even Democrats don’t want him on the ticket.

The classified documents scandal has put his administration under the spotlight, and his administration’s deflection of questions and refusing to take the blame has fueled criticism of their response.

To get around the scrutiny, Biden will likely turn to his infrastructure bill and the economy as the marquee successes of his first two years in office.

He will say he has reduced the deficit – a claim economists say needs context – lead to a historic reduction in unemployment and boast that gas prices have come down from record highs in the summer.
