Worried police launch urgent hunt for missing schoolgirl, 13, who vanished last night

  • Lexi Cliffe, 13, was last seen in Newton-le-Willows, Merseyside, last night 
  • Merseyside police has asked anyone with information to call 101  

Police have issued an urgent appeal for any information to help find a missing 13-year-old girl.

Lexi Cliffe was last seen in Newton-le-Willows, Merseyside, at 8.40pm yesterday on Horridge Avenue. 

She was described as 5ft 5in tall, of ‘slim build’ and with shoulder-length straight black hair.

Merseyside police circulated its appeal on its website and urged anyone with information to come forward.

She was last seen wearing a necklace with the letter ‘L’ on it, a dark-coloured puffer jacket, light grey leggings and black Nike Air Force trainers.   

She is known to visit St Helens, Haydock, and Wigan.

A police spokesperson said they are ‘increasingly concerned as to her whereabouts’.
