Popular cleaning product sold at Bunnings is urgently recalled
A popular cleaning product sold at Bunnings has been recalled.
The cap may not seal properly on SC Johnson and Son’s 1.2L Drano Max Gel bathroom drain cleaner, causing the corrosive product to leak out.
Defect:
The cap on one batch of bottles may not seal the bottle properly and may permit product leakage. If present, leakage may be found near the cap and on the outside of the bottle.
Hazard:
The product is corrosive; wear gloves while handling. If the bottle tips over, and the cap fails to seal the bottle properly, the bottle may leak its corrosive contents. Direct contact with the contents may cause severe burns to eyes, skin, and/or mucous membranes and the contents may be harmful if ingested or inhaled. Young children or pets may come into contact with or ingest its contents, which are corrosive.
What should I do?
