‘Foot traffic just isn’t there to sustain bricks and mortar (stores) in this economic climate,’ she said.

Sans Drinks will instead move exclusively into online trading, planning to offer customers a ‘more refined’ range of drinking options than what is currently available at common stores and grocers.

Ms Falcone founded the nation’s ‘first physical non-alcoholic bottle shop and online superstore’ in 2020, selling alcohol-free beers, wines and spirits in Sydney’s Warringah Mall.

On the company’s website Ms Falcone said she started the company after becoming ‘frustrated with the low quality, sugar loaded non-alcoholic alternatives that were available in supermarkets and bottle shops’.

The entrepreneur also founded natural beauty products company Nourished Life in 2012 which she later sold in 2017.
