Tragedy as a woman is killed after a three-car crash in Victoria – with a child and man airlifted to hospital 

A woman has died and two others have been rushed to hospital after a three-car crash east of Melbourne.

The accident took place just after 8am on Tuesday morning, on the corner of Queens and Beenak Rd.

The female driver of one of the cars died at the scene, while a man driving a separate vehicle was airlifted to hospital.

A man, woman and child were in a third vehicle, a Toyota Hilux which was towing an empty horse float, with the adults rushed to hospital by road, while the child was airlifted.
