Donald Trump predicted that Disney’s next move could be to leave Florida and prompt a financial ‘killer’ for Ron DeSantis amid the governor’s war with the corporation

The former president said the Florida Governor – and his potential 2024 presidential rival – is being ‘destroyed’ by the Magic Kingdom and claimed his ‘original P.R. plan fizzled’.

He said the corporation could start selling properties and moving money out of the state in the feud over who has control over the Reedy Creek Improvement District.

Meanwhile, Walt Disney Co. donated a whopping $10.5 million to Trump’s America First Action in the 2020 election cycle, according to Open Secrets.

In the most recent escalation in the war with Disney, DeSantis threatened to build a prison next to the theme park as payback for trying to strip his powers over the land the Magic Kingdom sits on.

He also said the Republican-controlled Florida state legislature will void Disney’s legal maneuvering that effectively stripped his new oversight board of authority over the company.

DeSantis has warned he will announce further crackdowns next week on Reedy Creek, the district that had tax exemptions and ran itself for decades.

‘DeSanctus is being absolutely destroyed by Disney,’ Trump claimed in a Truth Social post on Tuesday morning, seeming to employ a shorter version of his usual nickname ‘DeSanctimonious’.

‘His original P.R. plan fizzled, so now he’s going back with a new one in order to save face,’ he added of DeSantis. ‘Disney’s next move will be the announcement that no more money will be invested in Florida because of the Governor – In fact, they could even announce a slow withdrawal or sale of certain properties, or the whole thing. Watch! That would be a killer.’

‘In the meantime, this is all so unnecessary, a political STUNT! Ron should work on the squatter MESS!’ the former president advised.

DeSantis has not yet announced a plan to run for president in 2024, but amid rumors he is considering a run, the popular GOP governor has become the only potential challenger that could face-off with Trump.

He is also touring the country, fueling more speculation that an announcement of a bid is impending.

DeSantis is going to Washington, D.C. this week to speak at the Heritage Foundation’s Leadership Summit and will make two different stops in early primary contest state of South Carolina on Wednesday.

Trump’s latest attack came after another Florida lawmaker issued his endorsement for the former president’s third consecutive White House bid.

Rep. Greg Steube endorsed Trump in an interview Monday evening with Newsmax. He claimed another four years of Trump would help rectify the ‘disastrous policies of the Biden administration.’

Now a Florida resident, Trump has clinched more than a handful of endorsements from Florida’s congressional delegation.

‘Today I continue my unwavering support for the America First movement by endorsing the leader of our party, President Donald Trump for re-election to President of the United States!’ Steube tweeted with a clip of his endorsement.

Disney’s battle with Florida first began in 2022 when company officials publicly spoke out against the then proposed ‘Don’t Say Gay’ bill.

The now law prohibits instruction on sexual orientation and gender identity for children in Florida schools through third grade.

Former CEO Bob Chapek responded to the bill and said at the time he called DeSantis to ‘express our disappointment and concern.’

In response, Florida Republicans dissolved the state’s special tax district.

Although the ‘Pride Nite’ is being held on the opposite side of the country, Twitter users were not convinced that the announcement had nothing to do with the current controversy occurring in Florida.

‘This is Disney standing up to Florida’s radical governor,’ wrote actor Steven Pasquale.

‘The fireworks will be so large and so gay that they will cover the coup Disney launches in Tallahassee,’ one person joked. ‘The last thing Meatball Ron will hear is ‘Oh Gawrsh’ before Goofy shows him the true meaning of Hush Puppy.’
