A spokesperson from the camp said: ‘We will be working with authorities to review the incident in due course.

‘At the moment our focus is exclusively on supporting those passengers and staff involved.’

NT WorkSafe said staff have already begun investigations into the incident.

‘Inspectors are currently at the incident site and have commenced an enquiry into the incident to determine the appropriate regulatory response,’ a spokesman said.

The news comes just 15 months after Mr Wright’s co-star on TV series Outback Wrangler Chris ‘Willow’ Wilson, 34, died in a helicopter crash.

Mr Wilson was dangling from a helicopter to retrieve crocodile eggs in West Arnhem Land when the aircraft collided with trees and crashed to the ground, killing him.

Mr Wright and two other men have since been charged for allegedly destroying evidence after the fatal crash.
