Now the verdict for R. Kelly (56) has been pronounced! The musician was sentenced to 30 years behind bars in 2019 for sex trafficking and extortion. He was found guilty of child pornography last September. Among other things, he was accused of creating pornographic videos with minors. Now the R&B star had to face court. The verdict is: R. Kelly gets another 20 years on top!

As reported by CNN the 56-year-old appeared in federal court in Chicago Illinois on Thursday. There he was sentenced to 20 years imprisonment. The convict will serve 19 of the years at the same time as the 30-year sentence while the last year will be considered a follow-up sentence. Prosecutors said in a statement: “To date and even after the jury’s verdict against him Kelly refuses to accept responsibility for his crimes.”

That R. Kelly sees no guilt in himself and he proved this with his new album from prison: As TMZ reported last December the rapper unexpectedly had his new record “I Admit It” (in German: I admit it). released: The record contains 13 tracks in which the “I Believe I Can Fly” singer justifies his actions and denies the allegations against him among other things.
