In 2011, the “So What” interpreter became a mother for the first time. Five years after daughter Willow (11), little Jameson (6) made the family complete. Now, Pink reveals she was often lonely before her kids were born.
The 43-year-old explained on “The Zane Lowe Show” that her life has completely turned around since becoming a mother. “I’m super clingy and cuddly and goofy. Just making music wasn’t enough for me,” she admitted. “I was lonely. I was so lonely. It’s a very lonely business,” the blonde recalled. Singing is her passion, but “cuddling my babies, camping with them, and being dirty for three days is pretty cool too, and making wine is pretty cool too,” Pink added.
The kids even propelled the American’s career, although many had previously claimed that the opposite would happen. “Everyone told me that if I had kids now, my career would be over,” the ‘Just Give Me A Reason’ hitmaker revealed on the show. “Having my first child made me softer for the world,” she added.
