As the 35-year-old told People, just days before Lisa Marie’s death, the two visited an animal shelter near Los Angeles. There was an accident: “When I ran out of food for a camel, it bit my hand and almost lifted me off my feet,” said the musician in an interview. A short time later it dropped him on the ground and pounced on him. “It literally took my whole head in its mouth and bit me,” Navarone continued. Only with a lot of luck could he be saved. Priscilla is said to have seen everything and almost gone mad with worry. “She was traumatized,” said Navarone.
