Marvel fans should be happy about that! Ryan Reynolds (46) will soon slip back into the role of Wade Wilson aka Deadpool. Filming for the third part of the successful superhero film series is scheduled to start soon. It was announced last year that Hugh Jackman (54) will return as Wolverine in the film. Every superhero needs a rival – in “Deadpool” there will apparently be a female villain in the next part. As reported by HollywoodLife, The Crown actress Emma Corrin has already been hired. Familiar faces also slip back into their hero costumes: Josh Brolin (55) will return as Cable and Zazie Beetz (31) will take on the role of Domino for the second time.
Apparently, cinema fans have to be patient. The film is not scheduled to premiere until November 8, 2024 – around six years after the second part. Comic book author Rob Liefeld announced in 2020 that the production company had to concentrate on other projects first: “For me, ‘ Deadpool 3’ is momentary not a big priority, so I wouldn’t wait for that anytime soon,” he told comic blog io9.
