He opened up about his weight loss journey during an interview with The Daily Telegraph, sharing that he had been feeling sluggish and decided it was time for a change.
Farnham adopted a diet that involved eating smaller, more frequent meals and cutting out processed foods and sugary drinks to achieve his weight loss.
He incorporated regular cardio workouts and strength training into his routine.
According to Farnham, the results were remarkable. He expressed feeling great, having more energy, and experiencing improved sleep.

John Farnham Health Condition: He Underwent an Operation For Cancer
John Farnham, who is 74 years old, had a 12-hour operation because he had throat Cancer. Surgeons removed a tumor from his mouth and rebuilt his jaw.
His son, Robert, gave an update on his father’s health in a live interview on Sunrise and The Morning Show. He shared that his dad has started singing again and even “tap dancing.”
They appeared on-air with Gaynor Wheatley, a long-time friend of John’s, to talk about the premiere of the show John Farnham: Finding The Voice on Channel Seven.
According to Robert, his dad is now “Cancer free” and happy. He’s doing well and was seen walking around with his cane and doing a little dance recently, which was fantastic.
John is also spending a lot of time walking with his dog, and overall, he’s in a good place.
Moving on, In 2019, John Farnham had to cancel a tour in Australia and New Zealand because he was very sick with a kidney infection and dehydration.
After this, he decided to quit smoking, which he had been doing for a long time, and he also started drinking less alcohol.
Also, on August 23, 2022, John Farnham announced that he had Cancer and needed surgery immediately. He said many people face Cancer daily and knew others had gone through this too.
The same day, he had a long surgery that lasted almost twelve hours to remove the tumor from his mouth and fix his jaw. He was taken to the intensive care unit but was in stable condition.
Thankfully, the surgery was successful, and they could remove the tumor. Then, in March 2023, he had to go to the hospital because of a respiratory infection.
