Crystal Smith, the mother of Aiden Fucci was arrested for tampering with evidence related to her son’s murder case. Aiden is accused of stabbing Tristyn Bailey 114 times. He turned herself into the St. Johns County Sheriff’s Office as reported by the police.
He was caught on camera washing her son’s blue pants which had blood on them in the sink after he went for questioning in Tristyn Bailey’s killing. The police later found out that the blood on the pants was Bailey’s.
Sheriff Rob Hardwick said that Crystal Smith will be held responsible for her actions in this case. She even wrote a letter which was obtained by First Coast News in which she explained that her son can still be helped. She also wrote a letter to the Bailey family to express her condolences for the loss of Tristyn.
