After bumping into suspected killer Bryan Kohberger, a victim of the University of Idaho killings, Dylan Mortensen allegedly told fer friends to quite down as she misunderstood the noises of her four roommates being brutally murdered for loud partying.
About four in the morning, Mortensen is said to have opened her bedroom door and shouted the people to calm down because they were being so loud. She explained how she was unable to sleep because of the noise.
That evening, Mortensen opened her door once more after hearing additional loud noises and spotted the alleged murderer, whom she mistakenly believed to be a partygoer.
The person she mistook as the partygoer had worn black clothes and a mask. He walked past her towards the house’s exit after 4 AM in the morning.

He has been charged with the deaths of Kaylee Goncalves, who was only 21 years old, Madison Mogen, who was 21 years old, Xana Kernodle, who was 20 years old, and Ethan Chapin, who also was 20 years old.
It is creepy as the source confirmed that Kohberger followed Madison, Kaylee, and Xana on their socials like Instagram. He even texted one of the female victims several times but never got a response.
On the night of the killing, Kaylee, Maddie spent their time at the Corner Club, which is a student bar, a mile and a half away. Then at 1:45 AM, they came back home and slept on the third floor while Kaylee spoke on the phone with her ex.
Also, Xana and Ethan had also gone out to attend a Fraternity House party and they came back in the morning and slept on the second floor in Xana’s room.
