Detectives investigating Macy Peebles’ case found a video from a nearby home that showed where her body was. The detectives found a video that showed the area where Peebles’ body was found. They saw that the body was not there at 7:30 am but it appeared on the video taken at 8:51 am when the deputies were already there investigating.
Investigators watched a video and saw a silver Chevy Malibu drive into the parking area of the 4-complex where Peebles was found in the morning. At around 8:02 in the morning, a car drove out of the parking lot and onto Gardere Lane. No other cars were seen entering or leaving the parking lot until the victim’s body was found.
Investigators found several surveillance cameras that captured the silver Malibu driving around the area where the victim’s body was found. The car was seen on multiple cameras driving on Gardere Ln. between the time the victim’s remains were dumped and when the deputies were guarding the murder scene.
