Many musicians have entertained their fans by creating melodious music and songs. They are famous worldwide for their musical instruments skills and talent.

Pat O’Brien is an American guitarist born on 17 May 1965 in Kentucky, U.S. He is well-known as the former lead guitarist of the band Cannibal Corpse.

O’Brien was interested in music and got his first guitar at 11 as a Christmas present from his mother. His favorite guitarist is Andres Segovia, and he defined him as his main inspiration.

Furthermore, O’Brien graduated from Conner High School in Hebron, Kentucky. He used to play Death metal, technical death metal, and heavy metal genres music.

O’Brien began his music career in 1983 and was active in this field for over three decades. He was a former member of bands Cannibal Corpse, Nevermore, Chastain, Prizoner and Ceremony Monstrosity.

In 2018, O’Brien was arrested and charged with Bulgary and Assault.

Case Of Pat O’Brien Being Arrested And Charged For Burglary And Assault

In December 2018, O’Brien was arrested in Tampa, Florida, for house burglary and assault on a deputy officer.

O’Brien entered the house, 4700 block of Windflower Circle, around 6:57 pm without the owners’ permission. One residence member told him to leave, but he pushed that woman to the ground, left the house, and hid in the property’s background.

Later, the police arrived and ordered him to surrender himself, but instead of doing that, O’Brien attacked the deputy with Knife. Then the deputy tased him and arrested him.

O’Brien was taken into the Hillsborough Country Sheriss’s Office and charged with burglary and assault on a deputy officer and was held without bail.

At about the same time, the Fire broke out in the house that O’Brien was renting near that burglarized house. After the Fire crew arrived and put the flames out, many things, including Flamethrowers and guns, were recovered.

The Fire crew found explosive devices, 50 shotguns, semi-automatic rifles and many more. The neighbors were shocked and scared as they did not expect anything like that from Pat O’Brien.

Pat O’Brien was sentenced to 150 hours of community service, a 5-Year probation with alcohol and drug evaluation and treatment, $23,793.45 restitution and time served on 16 March 2021.

Pat O’Brien Music Career

Talking about his career, O’Brien started playing in heavy metal bands like Chastian and Prizoner in the 1980s.

In 1990 the musician started playing death metal with the band Ceremony. The band released a demo titled Ceremony in 1992, and an EP, The days before the Death, was only released in 2000.

After the team disbanded, O’Brien became a member of the Nevermore, and the team recorded an EP, In Memory and The Politics of Ecstasy, in 1996. He remained on that team for about two years.

Later, O’Brien decided to leave the band, and he joined Monstrosity band as a touring member but was not active in the team for most of the time.

In 1997, after auditioning, O’Brien became a permanent member of the band Cannibal Corpse and was featured in every band album, including Gallery of Suicide and Red Before Black.

One of the Cannibal Corpse songs, Frantic Disembowelmentfro the album The Wretched Spawn, is considered challenging as the band has performed it live only once.

Many musicians complimented Pat O’Brien for performing complex rhythms and writing technical songs. Later, O’Brien left the band Cannibal Corpse.

Overall, Pat O’Brien is a great guitarist. In his life, he has also been convicted of crimes and received punishments. After realizing and facing those charges and treatment, he might return back again to the music field.
