Chelsea have already been linked to a number of managers to come in at Stamford Bridge at the end of this season.

This is despite the fact that there is currently no vacancy for the role in West London, with Mauricio Pochettino still in the job.

Pochettino under pressure

However, certain sections of the fanbase already are of the opinion that he shouldn’t be there any longer, and their recent result at home to Burnley will have done him now favours in their eyes.

A 2-2 draw against 10 men at home is far from ideal for a side looking to qualify for European football for next season, with this being expected to be crucial to whether he keeps his job or not.

For those wanting the club to go elsewhere, there have already been a number of names linked to the role, and today saw a report that stated that they were still monitoring Sporting Lisbon boss Ruben Amorim.

Finding a manager who can excel with the players currently at Stamford Bridge should be at the forefront of any decision makers minds this summer, and the 39-year-old could well fit that bill perfectly.

Amorim the perfect manager for Chelsea

His current system sees two narrow attacking wingers support a sole striker, with this looking perfect to incorperate two of their most crucial players.

Cole Palmer is easily to the go to man right now, and he would operate well alongside Christopher Nkunku if he can remain fit.

Amorim also operates a back three, with attacking wing backs providing the width to bolsterin the final third.

If there is one position at Chelsea they are not short in right now, it is attacking wide defenders, especially on the right with Reece James and Malo Gusto having the quality to play for most teams.

A midfield pairing is also important for his current side, and Chelsea fans will be aware that they have two of the most expensive in football history available for them, as well as hopefully Romeo Lavia in his return from injury.

Just by purely looking at the players available at Chelsea right now, Amorim looks the perfect shout to take over right now.
