Liverpool fans believe their club has secured the signing of the summer in Alexis Mac Allister after watching him pull the strings in his first pre-season for the Reds.
And some supporters admit they have ‘robbed’ Brighton by landing the World Cup winner for £35million, hailing him as a complete midfielder.

Mac Allister was at the centre of everything as Liverpool beat Leicester 4-0 in Singapore – with goals from Darwin Nunez, 18-year-old Bobby Clark, Diogo Jota and 17-year-old Ben Doak – and supporters are loving their new midfield puppetmaster.
He may not have got on the scoresheet, he now have even got an assist, but the Argentina international has so far showed exactly why Jurgen Klopp wanted him with some commanding performances in the middle of the park.
Klopp has overseen a major midfield overhaul at Anfield this summer, and many Liverpool fans would admit it was a long time coming.
Out have gone devoted servants Jordan Henderson and James Milner, as too have fringe players Naby Keita and Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain, while Brazilian star Fabinho is also set to join them out the exit door.
In have come Mac Allister and new No.8 Dominik Szoboszlai, with the club also in advanced talks to sign ex-Man City ace Romeo Lavia from Southampton.
And result has been, from the few matches supporters have seen so far this pre-season, a bump in quality the Reds faithful have been begging for from their midfield for a number of years.
And ‘Macca’ – as Mac Allister is affectionately called by Scousers – is quickly becoming a new favourite, with fans in awe of his class as Liverpool’s new midfield boss.
“I’m in awe of that Alexis Mac Allister performance in the first-half,” said one fan during the Leicester game. “We’ve missed quality like this in midfield for too long. Big big signing for us.”

“Alexis Mac Allister is so, so good, absolutely ideal for what we needed,” added another happy Red. “To be honest, Liverpool have needed someone like him for a long time.”
“Alexis Mac Allister, a special, special player, he will be the signing of the season,” said another, while one fan couldn’t resist making a rather bold comparison…
“I don’t know how to explain it, but does anyone else get Messi vibes from Alexis Mac Allister?”
Others were just blown away by the fact Liverpool had managed to get such a quality player for a – relatively – low price.
One fan said: “Alexis Mac Allister is a complete midfielder… Liverpool robbed Brighton for this guy!
“Alexis Mac Allister is the deal of the summer,” said another. “£35m for someone who is showing levels of being a world class player and is a proven winner. Give him is flowers, he is unreal.”
