The Hammers lost captain Declan Rice to Arsenal and are the only Premier League side yet to make a senior signing this summer.

Rice’s exit saw them net £105million but the only arrival at the club has been 17-year-old Sean Moore from Cliftonville.
West Ham have been unsuccessful in their pursuit of Southampton’s James Ward-Prowse while similar moves for Harry Maguire, Scott McTominay and Conor Gallagher have failed to come to fruition.
On the pitch, David Moyes’ side are bidding to claim a first win in three after losing 3-1 to Rennes last time out.

Bayer Leverkusen vs West Ham: Team news
The hosts will hope to continue building up the fitness of Robert Andrich but Sardar Azmoun, Patrik Schick and Piero Hincapie are all out injured.
The Hammers are in the midst of a cull at the club, with Gianluca Scamacca unlikely to feature as he attempts to move away.
Michail Antonio and Ben Johnson have both been granted additional time off following their international exploits.
West Ham don’t have any injury concerns to content with but there will no new signings on show for fans to get excited about.

talkSPORT co-host Danny Murphy believes the club are right to wait it out when it comes to recruitment, all due to Rice’s transfer fee.
“I don’t think West Ham fans should be panicking yet at all,” he told Drive. “They’ve got to be very cute and clever because everybody knows the money that they’ve got from Declan.
“They know people will be taking the Michael. People are going to be pushing their luck when they enquire about players.
“So I would expect, unfortunately, for David Moyes – and West Ham fans actually – that their business will get done late. What’ll happen is the realistic value of a player will become apparent as the window closes. So, don’t panic. Yes, you want to start the season well, I get it.
“This is the problem with the window being open until the end of August, but there’s no point in overspending for the sake of two or three weeks.”
