Another Chelsea player is now set for his short holidays off the back of being knocked out of his international championships.

After Armando Broja’s exit with Albania earlier this week, Mykhailo Mudryk has joined him after Ukraine were knocked out of the Euros.

Ukraine became the first side in history of the tournament to exit despite notching up four points, and those looking at the team they played today will have noticed one very obvious omission.

Mudryk was not in the starting side for the first time so far in the tournament, however it became apparent an injury may be the reason when he was not even seen in the squad available for selection.

Chelsea fans had actually been very positive regarding his previous performances in the group stages, with them singling him out for praise in the opening game despite the fact that they were defeated heavily by Romania.

However, after his exit was confirmed, supporters on Twitter had a very different point of view on the winger ahead of next season.

Chelsea fans not impressed by Mudryk

One user said: “Until we all agree that Mudryk has no future at Chelsea and he need to go. He doesn’t even make the bench and yet some fans keep saying they should give him more time if his country doesn’t try him why should Chelsea give him any more time.”

Another added: “Looked like he was on holiday in Germany to be fair.”

A third claimed: “Looks like Mudryk’s holiday started before the game.”

A fourth stated: “He doesn’t even deserve to be in the tournament in the first place.”

Finally, one user said: “He better be the first to arrive and work on his football intelligence.”

Mudryk will be looking to make a statement early into pre-season with new manager Enzo Maresca at the helm.

It has been claimed that the Blues are looking to add to their depth across the frontline, and their most recent top target was Michael Olise, until they missed out on him to Bayern Munich.

Reports since have stated that they could shift their attention to a winger on the other side, which could cause issues for the Ukranian as he looks to finally have his breakout season at Stamford Bridge.
