Crystal Palace could sign at least one player from Chelsea if Michael Olise joins the Blues this summer.

Chelsea are keen on signing Michael Olise from Crystal Palace, with it being claimed that the Blues are ready to trigger the winger’s release clause.

However, there also seems to be a possibility of Chelsea giving Palace players plus money to perhaps bring his price tag down.

Olise was excellent for the Eagles last season. He only managed to play 19 games in the Premier League but was still able to score 10 goals and provide six assists.

They will not want to lose him this summer, but Chelsea could try and soften the blow for them by sending one of their players to Selhurst Park.

Who could Crystal Palace sign from Chelsea in potential Michael Olise swap deal?

There are quite a few players who could leave Stamford Bridge this summer.

The likes of Ian Maatsen, Conor Gallagher and Armando Broja have all been linked with moves away from the club.

However, according to HITC, Trevoh Chalobah is the Chelsea star Palace have discussed as they weigh up whether to accept the Blues’ proposal for players to be included in the deal for Olise.

Chalobah looks to be available this summer, with The Telegraph claiming last month that he could be sold for £25m.

The Chelsea player Crystal Palace should ask for instead of Trevoh Chalobah

Chalobah could be a really good signing for Palace this summer.

The 24-year-old has Premier League experience and is versatile, able to play in central defence and at right-back.

But if Palace are going to do a swap deal with Chelsea, then they really should be asking for Noni Madueke.

He would be a like-for-like replacement for Olise, a left-footed right winger who is an amazing dribbler.

As per FBref, Madueke has ranked in the 93rd percentile for successful take-ons among attacking midfielders and wingers over the last year.

Chelsea are likely to say no, with it being suggested that they want Madueke and Olise to compete for the right-wing spot next season. But it will not hurt Palace to ask both the 22-year-old and Chelsea the question.
