Liverpool fans were left spellbound by Harvey Elliott’s stunning solo goal during England’s Under-21 European Championship victory against Germany.
The 20-year-old received the ball in his own half half before turning on the afterburners as he zoomed past German defender Marton Dardai and slotted the ball past goalkeeper Noah Atubolu.

The fine effort had Liverpool fans purring with one fan joking Elliott’s brilliance was inspired by the fact the Reds have been linked with RB Leipzig and Hungary forward Dominik Szoboszlai, who would be competition for him in the first team should he join.
One fan tweeted: “Harvey Elliott that is outrageous.”
Another said: “That is an absolutely sensational solo goal from Harvey Elliott [fire emoji].”
This fan added: “Harvey Elliott – Starboy.”
