Manchester United have struck the biggest kit deal in Premier League history after extending their relationship with Adidas.

The new deal will run until 2035, a 10-year extension on their current commitment to the German sports manufacturer.

Even more remarkably, that kit deal will be worth an estimated £900million.

That means it’ll be worth a minimum of £90m per season following record breaking sales across the men’s and women’s collections during the off-season.

United returned to adidas in 2015/16 following 23 years away in which their kits were manufactured by Nike.

A record-breaking deal for the Premier League, it surpasses Man United’s existing arrangement with Adidas which was worth £75m over 10 years, taking its overall value to £750m.

“With its roots in the 1980s, our partnership has been reinvented over the past decade with some of the most innovative designs and technology in sportswear.

“We are now looking forward to refreshing this powerful partnership again through the remainder of this decade and into the 2030s.”
