Omari Kellyman is a professional footballer who Chelsea have signed from Aston Villa for £19 million this summer.

The move came about after Villa showed an interest in Chelsea academy graduate Ian Maatsen and eventually signed the left-back for £37.5m.

This meant that Unai Emery’s side needed to sell a homegrown player in order to comply with the Premier League’s profit and sustainability rule (PSR).

Chelsea were interested in signing arguably Villa’s most highly-rated youngster, Kellyman, and he is now their player after completing a move last week.

It is fair to say that most Blues supporters will know very little about Kellyman, but the Chelsea Chronicle tells you everything you need to know about the £19m signing below.
