He was then in the paddock before the race got underway on Sunday.

A Chelsea fan managed to find Dybala and went to take what was perceived as a selfie.

Little did the AS Roma star know that the fan had his video waiting before asking: “You coming to Chelsea?”

Dybala retreated with a smile as someone can be heard chuckling.

Another football star in attendance at the British Grand Prix was Thiago Silva, who admitted that he would love to see Dybala at Chelsea.

Silva revealed he, like the Blues fan, tried to entice him to come to Stamford Bridge.

But Dybala was not giving much away, as the defender said: “I’ve asked Paulo Dybala if it’s true that he’s coming to Chelsea but he didn’t answer!

“He’s a top player, he’d be a massive signing for us — I’d like it.”

According to reporter Pedro Almeida, Chelsea have made contact with Dybala as they look for attacking reinforcements following the departure of Mason Mount and impending departure of Christian Pulisic.

The World Cup winner has a release clause worth just £10.4million to foreign clubs despite having a contract up to 2025 at Roma.

Mauricio Pochettino wants to bring in his countryman to bolster a waning attack with Pulisic set to leave for AC Milan.

Hakim Ziyech had a move to Al Nassr fall through but a transfer could be revived in the coming weeks.

And Romelu Lukaku has been linked with a Saudi Arabia transfer, as well as a Juventus switch.

Christopher Nkunku and Nicolas Jackson have arrived but Pochettino is fast losing players in a summer of departures at Stamford Bridge.

Kai Havertz, who started as the main striker last season, has left for Arsenal while Mount’s move to United has meant huge gaps in the squad.

Coupled with the departures of Mateo Kovacic, N’Golo Kante and Kalidou Koulibaly and Chelsea could have a nearly completely looking team on the first day of the season.
