Chelsea are building a squad that supporters can finally get excited at Stamford Bridge by for years to come.

As has been the mantra ever since Todd Boehly took over as owner, it has continued to be the case that they have brought in some of the best young talent around for both now and the future.

You only need to look at their transfer activity from this summer to see that this is the case. A deal to bring in extremely hot prospect Estevao Willian has already been confirmed.

The young Brazilian is tipped to go far in the game already, and seems to score a great goal every time he plays at the moment.

Estevao celebrated a goal recently too with his very own variation of Cole Palmer’s now signature celebration.

Chelsea convinced Palmer will stay for 10 more years

While the impact the Brazilian is going to make is unclear, one thing the club are reportedly convinced on is the role the England international will play.

According to The Telegraph, the Blues are planning their future to involve him for at least 10 years.

After scoring in the final of a major international competition, there is no doubt that stock is extremely high in the 22-year-old at this stage.

One figure who has already been impressed by him is Roberto Carlos, who described him at the end of last season as ‘sensational’.

Palmer back in the gym already

Palmer has already been spotted in the gym since his return to the country, potentially hinting towards the fact that he is not prepared to leave this season without a trophy.

He will likely be looking forward to working under the new manager Enzo Maresca, after their extremely successful spell together as part of the youth at Manchester City.

It remains to be seen what position he is going to feature in, with both a central role available as well as one on the right of attack.

One person hoping the latter doesn’t become the case will be Noni Madueke, as he looks for regular minutes to back up his strong end to last season.
