Chelsea have reportedly lowered their asking price for one of their players and could decrease it even further.

Enzo Maresca may want to have a look at him once he arrives at Chelsea.

According to Fabrizio Romano, the Leicester City manager is set to take over as Blues boss on a five-year contract.

However, he is unlikely to get a chance to assess the player, with the club having already seemingly made up their mind on him.

Chelsea could be forced to get rid of assets to stay in line with profit and sustainability regulations.

Chelsea struggling to offload player

Chelsea loaned out a lot of players during this season, which includes Armando Broja, Romelu Lukaku and Kepa Arrizabalaga.

They may now want to get rid of them for good, but that may not be easy.

According to the Daily Express, the Blues have already slashed Broja’s asking price from £50m down to £30m.

After a disappointing loan spell at Fulham, the same outlet has claimed that there is a feeling that they may have to reduce their valuation even further.

Broja failed to make a single start under Marco Silva or score a goal for the Portuguese.

How much money can Chelsea get for Armando Broja this summer?

Chelsea slapping a £30m price tag on Broja is not crazy. He is a young Premier League striker with potential.

In fact, his former manager Mauricio Pochettino once described that potential as “amazing”.

However, Broja did not do much during his time at Craven Cottage and clubs know that he is available, so Chelsea are not in a strong position here.

Realistically, then, the most that they can probably hope for is £20m-£25m. Another loan is also something that may have to be considered.

Chelsea were never going to get £50m for the Albania international, while even £30m is looking too expensive for suitors. It will now be interesting to see what happens with him.
