Chelsea have a bit of a dilemma right now as they look to strengthen their squad even further.
It is only the beginning of July, but Chelsea have already made several signings this summer.
So far this transfer window, the Blues have brought in Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall, Marc Guiu, Omari Kellyman and Tosin Adarabioyo.
They have also agreed a deal with Palmeiras to sign Estevao Willian next year.
Their business may not be over yet, though, as they scour the market for new attackers.
Chelsea’s conundrum
Chelsea have just signed Guiu, who can play up front.
However, it looks like the Blues still want to sign another striker before the transfer window closes.
According to football.london, they are keen to bring in another centre-forward. But there is a problem.
The same outlet claims that Chelsea do not want to hamper Nicolas Jackson‘s development and progress.
Jackson showed a lot of promise last season. At the age of 22 and in his first year in England, the Senegal international managed to score 17 goals in 44 appearances.

Chelsea not looking to upgrade on Nicolas Jackson
Atletico Madrid’s Samu Omorodion and Aston Villa’s Jhon Duran are two strikers who Chelsea have been heavily linked with this summer.
In fact, it has been claimed that they have actually had an offer for the former turned down.
Both players are 20 and have less experience than Jackson, suggesting that Chelsea are looking for someone to compete with the 23-year-old instead of a replacement.
The former Villarreal man, whom Mauricio Pochettino praised for having “amazing” commitment last season, is clearly someone who they believe in, then.
Chelsea relied too heavily on him, though. They really need to bring in a new striker this summer, even at the risk of his development. However, as things stand, they do not seem prepared to do that as they continue to put their faith in Jackson.
