Chelsea are planning to offer one of their players to Premier League and London rivals West Ham this summer.

There’s an ongoing process for Chelsea to find their next head coach after Mauricio Pochettino’s exit, but the summer transfer window is fast approaching as well.

So, what kind of squad will the next Blues manager inherit at Stamford Bridge?

FBREF data recorded that Chelsea had the youngest average age in the Premier League for the 2023/24 season with 24.2. Incidentally, Burnley (24.5) and Arsenal (25.0) were the next youngest in the division.

Chelsea 22-year-old will be offered to West Ham

According to The Mirror, West Ham will be offered the chance to sign Armando Broja from Chelsea in this upcoming window.

West Ham, who just appointed Julen Lopetegui as their new manager, will be given the opportunity to bring a new centre-forward to the London Stadium.

Broja, 22, will be put on the table by Chelsea to a rival club.

The young striker spent the first half of the season struggling to make a big impact in the Blues squad. Unfortunately, he encountered the same problem when he moved on loan to Fulham for the second half of the campaign, starting zero league matches for them.

The Chelsea Chronicle would argue he just needs a fresh start to relaunch his career, which took a big setback with a serious injury in 2022.

Armando Broja also linked with other clubs

Frank Lampard described Broja as “very talented” back in February 2022, as quoted by Metro Sport. His loan at Southampton a few seasons back proved he can lead the line in the Premier League, too.

If he find the right home, there’s a lot of potential to unlock in the fast striker.

On top of the above West Ham links, there’s other clubs rumoured to be interested this summer.

Journalist Simon Phillips reported via Substack earlier in May that Brentford and newly-promoted Ipswich Town like Broja.

Meanwhile, journalist Ben Jacobs recently claimed via GiveMeSport that Chelsea want £35m for Broja this summer.
