Chelsea finished sixth in the Premier League table last season.
As a result, Chelsea will not be playing in the Champions League in the 2024/25 campaign.
Following Manchester United’s win against Manchester City in the FA Cup final, they will not be competing in the Europa League either.
Instead, Enzo Maresca‘s side will have to settle for the Europa Conference League.
Chelsea fans will be disappointed that the team have once again missed out on Champions League football. However, the club’s bosses will, too, as it is having ramifications on the business side of things.

Chelsea are looking for a new sponsor for the front of their shirt.
While they have a multi-year deal with Infinite Athlete, it was agreed that the company’s logo would only be at the front of Chelsea’s shirt for one season.
According to The Telegraph, the Blues are continuing their search for new sponsorship.
However, the same outlet claims that they are considering another short-term arrangement with the view of agreeing a better deal with a company once they are back in the Champions League.
It has left them in a position where they may start the season without a front-of-shirt sponsor, just as they did last term.
Can Enzo Maresca get Chelsea back into the Champions League?
It is clear to see that not being in the Champions League is really impacting Chelsea.
It is why Maresca’s primary objective in the upcoming season will be qualifying for the competition.
He has the squad to do it. Chelsea have some really talented players, including Cole Palmer, who was exceptional in the previous campaign.
In total, the attacker came up with 33 goal contributions in 33 Premier League games.
With Jurgen Klopp no longer at Anfield, you also do not know what you are going to get from Liverpool. There could be a great opportunity for Chelsea to overtake them.
