Reports continue to state that the club would be open to selling Conor Gallagher at the right price, with there being no progress in handing him a new contract either.

With his current deal set to expire at the end of next season, there is an appetite to those in charge to cash in before has the opportunity to leave on a free.

This would be frustrating to the supporters, with some according to The Athletic threatening their own action to try and get the message across.

According to them, they are planning to prepare shirts to wear that say ‘If they sell Conor, we riot!’

Whether this has any impact on what the club do is unknown, however the unwavering support has surely been a talking point amongst those who make the decisions.

The latest club to be interested in signing Gallagher is Aston Villa, with Unai Emery reportedly seeing him as the perfect player for his system.

However, their business with the Blues has instead turned their attention to Ian Maatsen, with them reportedly agreeing a deal with the club to make the move to the Premier League side.
