Chelsea starting to get a return on their investment
Chelsea’s mega £115m deal (BBC) to sign Caicedo from Brighton last summer immediately put so much pressure on his shoulders.
Despite the slow start to his Blues career, the 22-year-old talent is now showing his level on a consistent basis.
He’s in aggressive defensive midfielder who offers so much both on and off the ball.
It’s great to see him continue his end-of-season form at Chelsea in an Ecuador shirt.
Speaking via BBC Radio 5 Sports Extra in May, BBC pundit Adrian Mariappa labelled Chelsea’s Caicedo as “sensational” for a piece of skill in a Premier League match.
