Going into their game against Aston Villa last night, Chelsea fans were not happy and some made that clear.
Last week, Chelsea lost 4-2 against Wolverhampton Wanderers and 4-1 away at Liverpool, leaving supporters extremely frustrated.
And some decided to vent their frustration at co-owner Todd Boehly before the Villa match, with a video of a group of fans chanting “we want Boehly out” circulating on social media.
Since taking over Chelsea alongside Clearlake Capital, the American has invested a lot of money.
However, that is yet to translate into succeed, as the Blues currently find themselves 11th in the Premier League table.
Is Todd Boehly really to blame for Chelsea’s struggles?
Since Boehly took over Chelsea, the club have had quite the fall from grace and he has to take some of the responsibility for it.
His boardroom have made some really bad decisions, such as sacking Thomas Tuchel and then hiring Graham Potter, who had a horrendous time at Stamford Bridge before being dismissed himself.

You also have to question Chelsea’s transfer strategy under this new ownership. The club have brought in so many young players while getting rid of many experienced first-team members. So far, it has just not worked.
With all of that being said, at the end of the day, it is the players who go on the pitch and the manager who coaches them and gives them instructions.
Boehly and Co may not have created a squad able to challenge for the Premier League, but it is certainly good enough to be above 11th in the table. Being there falls on Mauricio Pochettino and the players, who have not been at the required level this season.
They at least showed some improvement in the win against Villa compared to their defeats at the hands of Wolves and Liverpool. Enzo Fernandez particularly impressed Chelsea legend John Terry with his display.
