Austin Butler has paid tribute to Lisa Marie Presley.
‘My heart is completely shattered for Riley, Finley, Harper and Priscilla at the tragic and unexpected loss of Lisa Marie,’ the actor said in a statement to E! News on Friday, January 13 – one day after her death.
‘I am eternally grateful for the time I was lucky enough to be near her bright light and will forever cherish the quiet moments we shared. Her warmth, her love and her authenticity will always be remembered,’ he said.
Lisa Marie Presley, the only child of Elvis Presley and wife Priscilla, died on Thursday, January 12 from cardiac arrest at age 54.

His touching words come just three days after he told Lisa Marie and Priscilla that he will love them forever following his Golden Globes win.
During Tuesday night’s Golden Globes ceremony, the 31-year-old won Best Actor, Motion Picture Drama for his starring role in the Elvis biopic.
The award winner, who had spent time with Elvis’s daughter Lisa Marie and wife Priscilla in order to embody the King of Rock ‘n’ Roll, was quick to thank them in his acceptance speech.

The touching tribute saw Austin vow to love the ladies ‘forever’.
As the women broke down in tears, Austin said: ‘I also want to thank our incredible producers and Warner Bros and the Presley family.
‘Thank you guys, thank you for opening your hearts, your memories, your home to me. Lisa Marie, Priscilla, I love you forever.’

Lisa Marie and Priscilla had accompanied Austin on much of the publicity tour for Elvis and the trio had grown close during filming of the biopic.
After watching Elvis, Priscilla raved about Baz Luhrmann’s vision and Austin’s performance as the King of Rock ‘n’ Roll, to whom she was married for just over six years.
The film chronicles the life and career of Elvis from his early days as a child growing up in Mississippi to his ascent as a rock ‘n’ roll icon and movie star, along with his complex relationship with his manager, Colonel Tom Parker.

Lisa Marie died at the age of 54 on Thursday, hours after she suffered a cardiac arrest at her home in Calabasas, California.
She had been rushed to a hospital in critical condition and was said to be in a coma following a ‘full cardiac arrest’ shortly after she had been complaining about stomach pains, according to TMZ.
Priscilla, who was at her daughter’s side, said in a statement: ‘It is with a heavy heart that I must share the devastating news that my beautiful daughter Lisa Marie has left us.
‘She was the most passionate strong and loving woman I have ever known. We ask for privacy as we try to deal with this profound loss. Thank you for the love and prayers. At this time there will be no further comment.’
Sources told TMZ that Lisa Marie was found unresponsive in her bedroom by her housekeeper and that her ex-husband, Danny Keough, who she has been living with, performed CPR until paramedics arrived at the house.
Lisa Marie’s life was tumultuous, with five stints in rehab for cocaine and opioid abuse, four failed marriages, losing her son to suicide and a fierce custody battle over her twin girls with an ex-husband she falsely accused of having child pornography.
