Newly-single Avril Lavigne stepped out in thigh-high boots at the Courrèges show during Paris Fashion Week on Wednesday, following her shock split from fiancé Mod Sun.
The singer, 38, was joined at the event by Kylie Jenner’s ex Tyga after they had a ‘cosy night out’ together last Tuesday.
The outing comes after musician Mod Sun said he was ‘blindsided’ when the singer called it quits.
The couple went their separate ways last week after a two-year romance – with his representative informing Page Six both he and Avril ‘were together and engaged as of three days ago when he left for tour.’
Avril was later seen having dinner with Tyga, 33, and pals, where she shared an embrace with the rapper before they departed in the same car, TMZ reports.
Stepping out in the French capital, the hitmaker looked chic in a long black coat and over sizes T-shirt dress, with Tyga arriving shortly after.

Tyga put on an edgy display in a slick leather biker jacket with a chunky silver chain and straight leg bleached jeans.
He topped his look off with a plain black T-shirt and a pair of chunky boots, shielding his eyes with some sunglasses.
Avril’s outing comes after Mod Sun broke his silence on his split from his fiancée and revealed his heartbreak on Tuesday.

TMZ reported that Avril had called off their engagement after the couple were ‘on and off’ for the past couple months.

However, the songstress and the Bones singer were recently spotted attending a pre-Grammys party earlier this month, and were seen catching up with other stars such as Diplo.
While what exactly led to the split remains unclear, the tabloid says neither party were unfaithful to one another.
News of the split comes just one day after Avril was spotted grabbing dinner with Tyga and several friends at Nobu in Malibu, where she was seen sharing an embrace with the rapper before departing in the same car together, according to TMZ.
Insiders told the site the two have been good friends for some time but are nothing more.

Speaking with People, sources re-iterated Avril and Mod had been on-off for some time and that she is strictly friends with Tyga.
‘Avril and Mod Sun have been on and off for the past two months, but are no longer together as a couple,’ the insider said.
A source also told the outlet of her friendship with Tyga: ‘Avril and Tyga are genuinely friends and nothing more. There was absolutely no third party involved in the split.’

The two stars were first romantically linked back in December 2020, with Mod Sun proposing to Lavigne in Paris last year on March 27.
At the time, Avril recalled the special moment and expressed to People, ‘It was the most perfect, romantic proposal I could ever ask for. We were in Paris on a boat in the Seine River.’
‘We had a violin player, champagne and roses. It felt like time stood still, and it was just the two of us in the moment,’ she further gushed.
‘I knew we had a very strong unstoppable connection from the first week of writing and working together in the studio. Immediately,’ the talented singer later added. They had initially crossed paths at a songwriting session.
