Carly Pearce jokes about slipping and falling down onstage during her concert performance: ‘First fall on stage, better make it count’
Carly Pearce showed off her great sense of humor after taking a big fall onstage last week.
The 33-year-old country star joked it off by posting a fan-taken video of herself slipping and landing hard on her side while performing onstage during a show in Iowa on Thursday.
‘Well there’s a first time for everything and I sure busted my booty tonight in Iowa,’ she wrote on Twitter before requesting documentation of the moment. ‘Who has a video?’
The We Don’t Fight Anymore hitmaker then shared a clip of the incident on TikTok and joked in her caption: ‘First fall on stage, better make it count’.
In her TikTok post, the Grammy winner — who recently broke up with her now-ex, Riley King, after dating for two years — had hilariously edited herself taking a tumble to the tune of Gwen Stefani’s Hollaback Girl.

The video — which has since gone viral — showed her walking down the stage towards her fans but losing her footing in her cowboy boots.
For her concert, the singer-songwriter had worn a white bustier top with sheer ribbing along her midriff and a pair of cut-off denim shorts.
Currently, Pearce is touring across cities in North America and will continue her shows until the end of October.
Earlier this year, the Kentucky native had also joined Blake Shelton as an opener for his headlining Back to the Honky Tonk Tour.
Following her last show opening for the country singer, she had teamed up with his wife, Gwen Stefani, for a performance at the CMT Music Awards on April 2.
The two vocalists marked their first collaboration with a duet of No Doubt’s 1995 hit song Just A Girl.
At the time, Pearce gushed about Stefani in an interview with People.
‘She is such a true artist and such a songwriter,’ she said. ‘I feel like we’ve really bonded over the songwriting, and I’m such a fan.’

At the beginning of this year, Pearce also took home her first Grammy for best country duo/group performance for her song, Never Wanted to Be That Girl, with Ashley McBryde.
‘I’m really into collaborations and was thinking about who I wanted for this album,’ she told People about asking McBryde to collaborate with her for the song from her 2021 studio album, 29: Written in Stone. ‘I’ve always loved Ashley’s voice.’
She continued: ‘I’ve always thought that she just had an old-school sound when she sang — much like what I’d gravitated to as a kid and still do. And we’d sung together in a few shows and we always locked in on harmony.
‘We’re an odd pairing that maybe nobody ever thought would sing together — and I liked that shock factor as well,’ she added. ‘I obviously hadn’t written this song or thought anything of it, but I just asked her if she would come and write a song with me!’
