Days Of Our Lives star Brandon Barash revealed that he and his younger wife are expecting their first child together just five months after their wedding.

The 43-year-old actor – who is already a father to nine-year-old daughter Harper – revealed his 23-year-old new wife Isabella Devoto was pregnant in an Instagram post Sunday.

Brandon could be seen with his hand on his partner’s burgeoning baby belly as they stood alongside his daughter and their dog.

He captioned the image: ‘In January, our family lost a mother…and then we gained one. Baby Barash coming to ya, September 2023.

‘The Barash Brood continues to grow. Grateful does not begin to describe. Happy Mother’s Day, my queen. [prayer hands, red heart, and baby bottle emojis] #grateful #mothersday.’

Brandon and Isabella met in July 2019 when he was 40-years-old and she was 19-years-old.

Six years after his divorce, the actor wed his much younger fiancée Isabella in front of 145 guests at the North Ranch Country Club in Thousand Oaks on Saturday, December 17.

Brandon is a veteran actor while his young bride’s most recent jobs include nursing assistant and Spanish medical interpreter – according to LinkedIn.

‘I tell Isa this all the time. And it’s cliché, but I feel like the luckiest man on the planet,’ Brandon told People.

‘We’re excited to start a new adventure together.’

Barash and Devoto – who plan on honeymooning in Spain – made sure to invite his DOOL castmates Victoria Konefal, Dan Feuerriegel, Carson Boatman, Shawn Christian, Ari Zucker, and head writer Ron Carlivati.

The St. Louis-born, Texan-raised actor also made sure to invite his former General Hospital castmates Eric Martsolf, Bradford Anderson, Shawn Christian, and Bradford Anderson.

DJ RedShoe kept the guests dancing while Melissa Jean Boothe (MJB Cakes) baked the gold-embellished, four-tiered lemon curd and chocolate wedding cake for the couple.

Barash would have never met the love of his life in July 2019 had it not been for Harper bringing them together at her Spanish summer camp, Kallpachay Spanish Immersion, where Isabella worked part-time as an assistant teacher.

‘I credit her with the whole relationship. We kind of both do. They had a relationship before we did,’ the Good Trouble guest star told People.

‘And it was so funny because she was just a little matchmaker and she had really never been like that with anybody. I was a single dad for a while and there was something about Isa that Harper just felt connected to.

‘And for the longest time it was like, “Hey Daddy, you and Isa, you would kind of be good together.” I said to her, “You’re five. How do you know what that means? What does that even mean? Good together?” And she would say, “Well you guys just seem like you would be really great together as boyfriend and girlfriend.”‘
