A huge UK boyband star looks completely unrecognisable in an unearthed video shared by the singer’s proud mum on Monday.
Fans had to do a double take when they saw the award winner transform into a very glamorous woman named Veronica after spending hours in hair and make-up.
The video was backstage footage from 2013 and it filmed the band behind-the-scenes on a music video of one of their biggest hits.

The entertaining clip showed Zayn Malik getting into character as ‘Veronica’ for Best Song Ever and was re=shared by his mum after being posted on a fan page.
The singer, 29, had to have all of his tattoos blurred out, don a long brunette wig and a face full of make-up.
Having to negotiate walking in a tight pencil skirt and heels, Zayn says: ‘I can’t walk like a lady, man. That’s not going to happen. It would be funnier if I walk like a man.’

Taking to the comment sections, fans said they struggled to understand Zayn’s thick Northern accent.
One wrote: ‘The accent is so hard to understand’, while another added: ‘he’s iconic’.
It comes as Zayn made a music return late last year when he released a cover of Jimi Hendrix’s 1971 posthumous tune Angel to mark the late guitar legend’s 80th birthday.

And it could be a busy 2023 for Zayn, who has reportedly accepted his first film role in the animated movie 10 Lives, according to Variety.
The singer-songwriter has joined a cast featuring Bridgerton actress Simone Ashley and three-time BAFTA winner Mo Gilligan.
Derry Girl’s star Dylan Llewellyn and Sophie Okonedo of Hotel Rwanda fame are also set to voice characters in the new film.
Variety describes 10 Lives as the story of a ‘pampered and selfish cat’ who receives a 10th life after wasting his first nine.
